8. LeBron James makes his return to Cleveland

In a bittersweet game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Cleveland crowd got a chance to watch LeBron James play in the Quicken Loans Arena once again.

To no one’s surprise, James received a warm welcome when he took the floor to play against his former home crowd. While there were obviously a few scattered boos, the majority of fans were using this game as a chance to show their gratitude for the three-time Finals MVP.

It goes without saying how much of an impact James had on the franchise, as well as the city of Cleveland. There is no doubt that James is the greatest player to ever suit up for the Cavaliers and he gave the team over a decade of memorable moments.

Obviously, The Land would’ve rather seen James remain with the Cavs for the rest of his career, but there is no question that he is still very much appreciated for the time that he gave to the city.

This game against the Lakers resulted in a loss for Cleveland, but it was certainly a memorable one for James and the fans.
