The 2018-19 season wasn’t a very good one for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Finishing with a 19-63 record, it goes without saying the Cavs had their fair share of rough moments. Still, the team experienced a number of great moments as well.
No franchise could be prepared for the loss of LeBron James. Throw this on top of the fact that Kyrie Irving demanded a trade only a year prior and it is a miracle that the Cavaliers didn’t finish the season with the worst record in the league.
While the team suffered from multiple injuries and a few disgruntled veterans, Cleveland managed to persist through everything and finish the year on a high note. Players such as Collin Sexton began to show glimpses of greatness, giving the franchise some optimism heading into the offseason.
