Philadelphia 76ers: Home-court advantage

One could rightfully say that the Raptors have had home-court advantage in basically every series throughout these past few disappointing seasons, and we all know how those turned out.

Thankfully, we are dealing with a completely different Raptors squad that seems more motivated than ever. The fans in Toronto always seem to be fired up, ultimately stepping up their game during the postseason.

The Philadelphia 76ers have certainly earned the right to call themselves contenders. They have two very young All-Stars and just traded for two borderline All-Stars that seem to have already fit in perfectly.

They currently have one of the best records in the NBA, though this success appears to originate mainly in Philly. A road record of 19-19 should definitely raise a few eyebrows in terms of how their success is going to translate in these playoff series if they don’t have home-court advantage.

Fortunately for the Raptors, they don’t seem to have any issue performing on the road. A record of 24-14 away from home certainly proves that location only mildly affects their style of play.

Fans in Toronto have to make sure this inexperienced Philadelphia team gets cold feet upon entering the Scotiabank Arena.
