Duke’s trio of freshman will draw the most attention, but Cleveland Cavaliers fans should keep an eye on three other rising stars in the Sweet 16.

The Cleveland Cavaliers‘ recent positive stretch should give fans good vibes heading to April, but interest in the NBA Draft Lottery also heightens as we approach May 14. The chances Lady Luck visits the team that hopeful night are good.

But if the Cavs miss out on a top-three pick, all is not lost. It seems the consensus trio of early selections is Duke’s Zion Williamson, Murray State’s Ja Morant and another Blue Devil blue chipper, R.J. Barrett.

Some other players are emerging as stellar fourth or fifth picks, should the Cavaliers draw one of those slots. This particular NCAA Tournament, maybe more than others, has helped bolster the draft stock of some fringe upper echelon prospects.

The fact that most of them fit what Cleveland is looking for next year is an added bonus. These next four days will help determine the fate of a handful of young prospects.

Will they blossom as stars, earning the right to be a top-five pick? Or will they yield under the pressure of basketball nation’s microscope?

Your bracket may be busted, but that doesn’t mean you should settle on a Netflix binge this weekend. Grab the remote, turn on college hoops and keep an eye on these three potential Cavaliers.
