2019 NBA Draft: Top 10 prospects to watch during March Madness
By Tony Pesta
10. De’Andre Hunter — G (Virginia)
The first player on our list might just be the best perimeter defender in college basketball. De’Andre Hunter has great size and athleticism for his position, making him a dual threat on offense and defense.
Hunter has the mentality of a player that wants to do everything he can to help the team win. With averages of 15.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, it is clear that Hunter can impact the game in many ways.
He is a skilled playmaker that excels at creating off the dribble. Whether it’s setting up one of his teammates or finding his own shot, Hunter is exceptional at using his dribble to attack the opponent.
Last season, Hunter was robbed of a chance to perform in the NCAA Tournament because of an unfortunate injury. Now, with his team ranked as one of this year’s 1-seeds, Hunter is ready to put the world on notice. Expect Hunter to go all out in this tournament and display his skill-set for everyone to see.
