Despite a poor season overall, there are still five reasons to feel optimistic about the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This season hasn’t been a great one for the Cleveland Cavaliers. They will finish near the bottom of the pack with one of the worst records in the league. Still, fans should leave the 2018-19 campaign with optimism for the future.

The franchise has done a decent job at setting themselves up for a successful rebuild. It isn’t easy to recover from losing a player such as LeBron James, but the Cavaliers are doing their best.

Cleveland’s front office is working to stockpile assets that can help them return to the playoffs. By trading away a number of different veteran players, the Cavs have achieved this goal and are looking prepped to become a playoff team again within a few seasons.

This season was disappointing, but it wasn’t a failure. Cleveland has put itself in a good position for the future. Let’s look at five reasons to feel optimistic about the Cavaliers.
