Overall conclusion

When looking at the way Brandon Ingram is playing, it’s impossible not to be impressed. He has made huge strides in the face of adversity and it turning into a great offensive player.

Ingram has hushed his critics and managed to become an efficient scorer. Every day it seems like the comparisons to a poor man’s Kevin Durant are more and more justified.

As with any young player, Ingram has plenty of room to grow. He will need to become a better playmaker as well as a stronger defender before he can enter his name into the list of the league’s best players.

It will be interesting to see how the Lakers deal with the emergence of Ingram. He has already been in trade talks and his value has certainly risen since the deadline. The Lakers will have to decide whether or not they can wait for him to fully develop before LeBron James is too old to compete anymore.
