In a regular season where several of the game’s top superstars have reached incredible feats, James Harden has found a way to put together yet another spectacular campaign down in Clutch City.
Over the last two and a half months, Houston Rockets star James Harden showed the majority of his critics why he is regarded by his peers to be in a pantheon of his own.
The 29-year-old guard — who captured MVP honors in 2018 — became the first player in league history to ever generate a 40-point, eight-rebound and seven-assist stat line in a calendar month.
He also joined the legendary Jerry West as the only players to ever record at least 600 points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists in January, en route to curating the greatest individual scoring stretch the NBA has witnessed since the merger.

Harden — who currently leads the league in scoring for the second straight year — saw his streak of scoring at least 30 points or more in a game come to a close at 32 consecutive contests, after pouring in a team-high 28 points in the Rockets’ 119-111 win against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
"“It was cool,” Harden told ESPN’s Michael C. Wright following his 32-game run, which marks the second-longest stretch in NBA history behind Wilt Chamberlain‘s 65-game streak that lasted from 1961-62. “I knew I wasn’t going to get No. 1.” “I don’t care. We won….That streak was great, but I was just doing it because that’s what we had to do in order to keep our head above water. Now, we get our full roster back.”"
Now, the seven-time All-Star will seek to pick up where he left off, as The Beard gets ready to help Houston vault their way back atop the Western Conference playoff picture.
With that being said, here are the top five moments from Harden’s historical scoring streak.
