No. 2: Heating up at the perfect time

One more key to the Jazz holding onto a playoff spot as the regular season schedules comes to a close is the fact that they’ve continued to stay hot and are heating up at the perfect time.

But, of course, that’s going to have to continue to happen for the remainder of the schedule for them to reach the postseason.

So far to open up its really impressive start to the second half of the regular season, Utah put together a record of 12-4 ahead of the All-Star break and have been 1-1 since the break. That included an impressive stretch right out of the gate of the second portion of the schedule where they won six straight games.

That hot stretch has pushed the Jazz from being on the fringe of the playoff picture to right in the middle of it, but Utah will have to continue to push along and stay hot at the perfect time of the year to remain in the position they are in or to maybe even continue to move up in the standings.
