3. Revamped energy

One of the first things that are obvious when comparing this current Cavs team to the one from a few months ago is the difference in energy.

Earlier in the season, the Cavaliers had only one player that was playing hard on a consistent basis — Tristan Thompson. Now, maybe a few other guys like Collin Sexton were trying to put in maximum effort, but they hadn’t quite discovered how to be effective yet.

Regardless, it is abundantly clear when watching the Cavaliers now that they have found some confidence and revamped energy within themselves. The Cavs no longer look defeated before the game even begins. Rather, they are eager to fight for a win every night.

The fact that these players are playing with newfound energy is great news for the team. The Cavaliers were dead in the water a few months ago and it seemed like the franchise had nowhere to go.

Hopefully, this means that the Cavaliers have hit their rock bottom already and have now begun their ascension back to being a playoff contending team.

This is a sign that the players on the team are starting to buy into the system. Obviously, the team has a long way to go, but seeing them play more confidently is an indication of good things to come.
