With the Boston Celtics’ season more than half over, they sit at 37-21, good for fourth place in the Eastern Conference. The squad will be tasked with kicking it into high gear for the last stretch of the season.
The Boston Celtics haven’t been bad by any stretch of the imagination this season, but they also haven’t lived up to the preseason expectations set for them. Perhaps the expectations were unfair, but the fact remains: Fans, players and coaches alike have been frustrated along the way this season.
Kyrie Irving has been fantastic on the court, yet his off-court comments have caused a little too much friction within the Boston Celtics Twitter community. Gordon Hayward‘s rehab remains a work in progress, and every two steps forward seem to be accompanied by a step backward.
Marcus Morris has had his fair share of displaying disappointment to the media, and also got into a small scuffle with Jaylen Brown earlier in the season.
