The Boston Celtics are tied for the fourth-best record in the Eastern Conference. Here’s a look at the team’s three biggest questions as it prepares for the second half of the season.

The Boston Celtics concluded last season with the second-best record in the Eastern Conference. Despite the absences of Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, who were both nursing injuries, the Cs came within one game of their first NBA Finals appearance since 2010.

Having said that, once LeBron James abdicated his throne in Cleveland, Boston became the prohibitive favorite to come out of the East. So far, the road to the top hasn’t been easy. In fact, it has been anything but easy.

Do the guys in green have enough firepower to catapult to the conference’s top spot? Can they continue to give opponents fits on defense, and what does their offseason potentially look like? Here’s a look at the three biggest questions for this team as they prepare to embark upon the home stretch of the season.
