4. LeBron James becomes the youngest MVP (2005-06)

As one of the most anticipated prospects to ever make it to the NBA, LeBron James didn’t waste much time living up to the hype. His first two seasons in the league were nothing short of amazing and it was clear that the Cavaliers had found themselves a generational talent.

The 2005-06 season marked the second time in James’ career up to that point that he had been named an All-Star. Of course, James had something special in store for the fans.

At just 21 years of age, James posted 29 points and 6 rebounds on 57.1 percent shooting en route to becoming the youngest winner of the All-Star Game MVP award of all-time.

James helped lead a stacked Eastern Conference team of Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal to a 122-120 victory over Tracy McGrady and the Western Conference.
