2. Larry Nance Jr.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have already shown that they believe in Larry Nance Jr. by giving him a four-year extension. This deal solidified Nance as a key component to their rebuild. Luckily, Nance has taken huge leaps in his game recently and is showing that this extension might be worth it for Cleveland.

Before the season started, Nance wasn’t much other than an athletic big man with the potential to put opposing players on a poster. Now, he has developed multiple aspects of his game and can impact a team in multiple ways.

For starters, Nance has become somewhat of an offensive weapon. He is no longer just a highlight reel dunker, he is now capable of stretching the floor and knocking down mid-range jump shots and even 3-pointers.

Where Nance has really been showing improvement is his ability to rebound the ball and protect the rim. He is finally using his athleticism to his advantage and doing what every big man should do. In the last six games, Nance is averaging 12.0 points and 13.4 rebounds a game.

This is hopefully an indication of what is to come for Nance as he continues to become a better player.
