3. Cedi Osman

Last season, Cedi Osman was a reserve who only played in short bursts on a championship contender. During this time, Osman relentlessly worked to soak up knowledge from his star teammates such as LeBron James and Kyle Korver. It is clear that he learned a few things, because he has now been selected to participate in the 2019 Rising Stars Game.

Osman was more than deserving of his selection. While he has had a few slumps this year, overall he has been very solid for the Cavaliers. On the season, Osman is averaging 12.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game game.

He has really shined in the last few weeks. In the five games before he sprained his ankle, Osman averaged 21.4 points and 5.4 rebounds on 54.8 percent shooting from the field. This stretch included back-to-back games in which he broke his career-high for scoring, with 25 points against the Boston Celtics and then 29 points against the Miami Heat.

This streak has been huge for Osman as it appears that he is playing with more and more confidence each night. If he continues to develop his game, he could be a very good player within a few years.
