The 2018-19 season has pretty much been decided for the Cleveland Cavaliers, so it’s time to look ahead towards the teams future.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have not had a successful season on the court by any means. The impact of losing a player like LeBron James has proven to be too much for the team to overcome.

Since the Cavaliers have no chance of making the playoffs this year, let’s break down what they should do over the next three years to put themselves back in a good position.

Though the team is one of the worst in the league, this season has not been a complete failure. The Cavaliers did a great job of stockpiling assets. In four different trades made this season, Cleveland has obtained two first-round picks and six second-round picks.

These draft picks, as well as the continued development of Collin Sexton and Cedi Osman, are currently the key elements to the Cavaliers’ rebuilding process. Today, we will evaluate the best and worst case scenario for Cleveland during the next three seasons.
