The Philadelphia 76ers have added a few new faces to the roster. Here are the grades for each player acquired in the blockbuster deal.
The Philadelphia 76ers are off and running during the 2019 NBA Trade Deadline.
As first reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania in the early hours of Wednesday morning, the 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers agreed on one of the biggest blockbuster trades we’ve seen thus far near the deadline.
Philly received Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic and Mike Scott for Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, a 2020 first round pick, a 2021 unprotected first-rounder (via Miami) and two second-rounders, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Aside from Harris, who was the clear headliner in this exchange, the team is adding a towering 7’3″ backup big man in Marjanovic and another wing veteran in Scott.
The Sixers could also inquire about the buyout option of New York Knicks shooting guard Wesley Matthews, to assuage the losses of Shamet and Chandler. Matthews was recently included in the Kristaps Porzingis trade that went down last week, and he could be on the move again, per Mike Mazzeo of The New York Post.
Is this the end of The Process?
Never…The movement will last forever.
Still, competing for an NBA championship is happening a lot sooner than initially expected. Bearing all of this in mind, here’s a look at the grades for each new member of the Philadelphia 76ers.
