The Detroit Pistons have agreed to send Stanley Johnson to the Milwaukee Bucks for Thon Maker. Here are NBA Trade Grades for both sides.

The 2019 NBA Trade Deadline isn’t until Thursday afternoon, but that hasn’t stopped a flurry of activity from unfolding, stemming from Tuesday night and extending into Wednesday morning.

Although it’s hardly going to show up on the radar compared to the deals revolving around Kristaps Porzingis or the Philadelphia 76ers landing wing Tobias Harris, the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks decided to keep the trade waters churning with a one-for-one swap.

According to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pistons have agreed to send wing Stanley Johnson to the Milwaukee in exchange for Thon Maker, who recently requested a trade in the search for more playing time.

For the Bucks, this is all about tightening up the rotation in the pursuit of a championship with more wing defense. For the Pistons, it’s their second deal in the last 24 hours after the team agreed to send 3-point marksman Reggie Bullock to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The question is, how did each side fare in what seems like a lateral move for both sides? In order to sort it out, here are NBA Trade Grades for both teams.
