1. Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic have been trying to rebuild for a long time now. With Nikola Vucevic becoming the team’s first All-Star since Dwight Howard, it seems like they are finally moving in the right direction.

The Magic have gathered a bundle of talented frontcourt players. Vucevic is obviously a valuable asset, while Aaron Gordon and Mohamed Bamba both have nice potential. Where the Magic have faltered is their backcourt rotation.

In this scenario, Orlando gets a backcourt upgrade with Alec Burks and Jordan Clarkson. These two guys are both capable scorers that can help create instant offense. In return, the Magic also get rid of an ugly Timofey Mozgov contract and the aging, ineffective D.J. Augustin.

Cleveland will welcome Mozgov back to the team and feel satisfied about adding him as a glass cleaner and rim protector. Augustin will then become the Cavaliers’ backup point guard.

As payment for taking on both Mozgov’s and Augustin’s contracts, the Magic will also send over a 2020 first round draft pick. This pick will be vital in the Cavs’ rebuild process as hopefully, they can use it to draft a valuable young asset.
