4. Add another shooter

The Nuggets rank 12th in the NBA in 3-point percentage, and they have a good amount of shooters as things stand right now, but those are mostly backcourt options. They need a wing/stretch option. Ideally, they would fill this role with a player like Wilson Chandler, but they traded him away during the offseason for a couple of different reasons. They will have to address the need either at the deadline or on the buyout market.

The Nuggets are one of the deeper teams in the NBA, which allows them to find ways to improve without sacrificing a core piece. Wings like this are normally in high demand, which will drive up their price, but the Nuggets should be aggressive in this pursuit. One player in particular they should inquire about is Detroit Pistons wing Reggie Bullock. The career 39.5 percent 3-point shooter is a decent defender, and he can bomb away from downtown all game.

Bullock is on a cheap expiring contract, which helps them in regards to their salary concerns next season. If they are unable to acquire Bullock, as he is likely to be a wanted commodity, they need to make phone calls to find another player to fit those needs. 3-point shooting can help space the floor for Jokic, Paul Millsap and others.
