Rumors have been swirling all around the league lately. One of the most recent rumors involves the possibility of  Kyrie Irving joining the Los Angeles Lakers to reunite with LeBron James.

It has been nearly two years since we last saw LeBron James and Kyrie Irving suit up together for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now, these two stars are in the midst of building their own championship contending teams. Irving is now in Boston, while James has made his way to the Los Angeles Lakers.

While Irving has a great young supporting cast around him, there has been a ton of speculation as to whether or not he will return to the team this offseason. Predicting what star players will do in free agency has become more difficult than ever, but there are a few reasons to believe Irving might be interested in reuniting with James.

The ball began rolling when Kyrie told reporters that he had called LeBron James to apologize for his childish behavior in Cleveland. Then, as news broke that Anthony Davis was requesting a trade and would potentially only re-sign with the Lakers, some reports about Irving being interested in joining L.A. came out as well.

If Irving makes the decision to team up with LeBron once again, it will certainly have a huge impact on the league. Today, we break down what this reunion could mean for the Lakers.
