3. Toronto Raptors

It’s been an interesting season for the Toronto Raptors. The front office made a very risky move in the offseason when they decided to trade away their franchise’s best player, DeMar DeRozan. While fans may have been upset at first, the additions of Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green have silenced most critics of the move.

For the first time, people are actually taking the Toronto Raptors seriously. They’re dominating in the regular season and looking like a real threat to compete for an NBA championship. One way that the Raptors could solidify themselves as title favorites would be to pull off a for Anthony Davis trade.

Hauling in Anthony Davis and Rodney Hood would be a huge victory for Toronto. Sure, it would miss the contributions from Serge Ibaka and Pascal Siakam, but adding a perennial superstar in Davis would be more than enough to make up for those losses.

The New Orleans Pelicans would gain young talent in Siakam and Jordan Clarkson, along with an experienced vet in Ibaka and two first round draft picks as well.

Meanwhile, Cleveland offers up both Clarkson and Hood to receive a sizable package of Ian Clark, Jahlil Okafor and two second round picks. Both Clark and Okafor are young prospects with decent potential and the draft picks will obviously help the rebuild.
