Anthony Davis could be shipped out of New Orleans before the 2019 NBA Trade Deadline. Here are three deals for Davis that the Cleveland Cavaliers could get involved in as a third team.

NBA Twitter was lit on fire Monday morning when ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news that Anthony Davis and his agent Rich Paul had told the New Orleans Pelicans that Davis will not re-sign with the team and wishes to be traded.

While Davis will likely be traded to a championship contending team, there is still a way that the Cleveland Cavaliers could get involved and potentially take home a few assets.

There is very little chance that the Cavs could pull off a deal that would bring Davis to Cleveland. However, according to Sam Amico of Amico Hoops, the Cavaliers are interested in becoming the third team in one of these deals.

It is actually possible that Cleveland could lend a helping hand in trade talks and offer up a few players in return for a draft pick. This would be beneficial to the Cavs, as they are clearly looking to rebuild their team through the NBA Draft.

As teams all across the league begin to put together their best packages for Anthony Davis, the Cavaliers are sitting patiently for their chance to get involved. Here are three trades the Cavaliers could jump in on.
