11. Jabari Parker
10. Robin Lopez

It wasn’t long ago that Jabari Parker was exiled from the Chicago Bulls‘ rotation and Robin Lopez seemed like an inevitable buyout candidate (despite the Bulls’ resistance to that idea). They’ve recently returned to the rotation, which is the reason these apparent castoffs aren’t higher up the list.

Parker started playing again in mid-January, and has averaged 13.8 points in just 17.6 minutes per game since then, shooting 61.8 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from 3-point range in that eight-game stretch. Lopez, meanwhile, has become more vital to Chicago’s frontcourt, even in a tanking season, with rookie Wendell Carter Jr. likely done for the year.

Even so, it’s hard to imagine the Bulls picking up Parker’s $20 million team option for next year, and Lopez is an expiring contract who could help a more competitive team in need of a backup big. Parker badly needs a change of scenery, and Lopez deserves the kind of winning situation he’s spoken at length about.
