13. Markelle Fultz

Patience is the most advisable path for the Philadelphia 76ers, but there’s no denying Markelle Fultz‘s stock is alarmingly low at the moment. The Sixers are trying to win now, and may not have the time to wait for him to shake off his injury problems and become the contributor they envisioned.

Between Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler, it’s already been a struggle finding looks for everyone. Fultz is yet another player — and theoretically, a scorer — that needs the ball in his hands to thrive. With his value depreciating and Philly running low on time to put it all together, a parting of ways might make the most sense.

Fultz isn’t done rehabbing from the thoracic outlet syndrome that’s sidelined him since mid-November, which makes it nearly impossible to move him before Feb. 7 when combined with the underwhelming 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game on .419/.286/.568 shooting splits he’s posted this year. A trade feels inevitable, but for now it’ll probably remain on the back burner.
