Pro: Porter has the ability to play multiple positions

One of the biggest positives that Otto Porter Jr. can provide to any team is the fact that he has the ability to play multiple positions on the floor, which isn’t exactly easy to find on the trade market in the NBA.

With those capabilities and his ability to hurt teams from anywhere while being able to stretch the court, Porter could be a valuable addition for Utah at the deadline.

So far this season, the 25-year-old is averaging 12.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game while spending time at both the wing and forward positions.

Not only would the addition of Porter allow Utah to move even more towards a “position-less lineup,” but it could also allow the Jazz the freedom to experiment with Donovan Mitchell at the point guard position a little bit more, something that has become more of a common theme in the last year.

That capability that Porter holds could be a nice addition if Utah decides it wants to go that route at the trade deadline.
