4. Alec Burks

The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Alec Burks earlier this season in a trade with the Utah Jazz. Since coming to Cleveland, Burks wasted no time showing his skill as a consistent scorer and closer in tight games.

He has now appeared in 31 games for the Cavaliers and has been a key component to six of the team’s 10 wins this season. In his brief time with the team, Burks has already hit two go-ahead buckets in the final seconds of the game to give Cleveland the win.

Overall, Burks is averaging 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds a game for the Cavaliers. He’s shot a poor 39.5 percent from the floor, but much of this is due to the fact that the team isn’t very potent offensively as a whole.

If the Cavaliers keep Burks for the rebuild, I believe he will gradually become more efficient as the team develops. As they add more talent to the team, Burks will grow comfortable in his role and be a consistent offensive presence.
