Detroit Pistons: Pros and cons of trading Reggie Jackson
The verdict
At the end of the day, the Pistons are in a tough spot when it comes to moving Reggie Jackson at the 2019 NBA Trade Deadline.
He still has another season remaining on his deal, so if they wanted to get him moved, they would likely have to give up a good young piece or draft pick to do so. Moving him would give the team the ability to develop their youth, and it would open up a wealth of cap space.
Unfortunately for the Pistons, if they really want to move Jackson without giving up a good asset, they will likely have to wait until the offseason to do so. While they could be blown away with an offer at the deadline, Jackson doesn’t seem like the player that teams are chomping at the bit to add.
