1. Terrence Ross

Traded away from the team in 2017 in exchange for Serge Ibaka, Terrence Ross has finally found his groove with the Orlando Magic. He could be the perfect candidate to solve Toronto’s wing issues once and for all.

Currently having a career year averaging 14 points per game while coming off the bench, Ross is one of the main reasons the Orlando Magic are having one of its best –if not the best– post-Dwight Howard seasons.

Ross will be a free agent in the upcoming offseason and it’s still unsure whether both parties have a mutual interest in a long-term deal. As a result, the Magic could be open to trading him away, possibly to a contender like the Toronto Raptors.

Even though Ross did not actually shine as a previous member of the Raptors, his presence was felt every time he got a clear path to the basket. He has now evolved his game beyond his leaping abilities, and he could finally help the team that drafted him with the eighth overall pick in 2012.

In exchange, the Magic would get C.J. Miles, who is a very experienced veteran to mentor this young Magic squad, as well as an unprotected first round pick to help apply those finishing touches on Orlando’s still unfinished rebuilding process.

We can most certainly say the Raptors are in desperate need of some bench help. Injuries can occur at any time, and your main guys are allowed to have off-nights at some point. That’s where the bench unit takes action. Any one of these deals would help in that regard.
