The 2019 NBA Draft will be crucial for the future of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Here are 10 prospects to keep an eye on as the draft approaches.

The 2018-19 NBA season has reached the halfway mark and it is becoming more and more clear which teams will be entering the lottery. As the standings begin to take shape, it is obvious that the Cleveland Cavaliers will be selecting high in the 2019 NBA Draft this year.

Early injuries quickly derailed the Cavaliers’ season and they have held the league’s worst record for most of the year. Cleveland is currently tied for the highest odds to receive the No. 1 pick at 14 percent, but they could still fall in the lottery.

Regardless of where the Cavs end up selecting, most likely in the top 3-5 spots, they are sure to get a promising young player. The draft is still about four months away, but let’s take some time to break down a few prospects Cavs fans should be paying attention to.
