Even with the Utah Jazz getting off to a slow start to the 2018-19 season, let’s take a look at three reasons why they’re still a playoff team in the West.

Even though they are less than 50 games into the regular season, the Utah Jazz have had a rollercoaster 2018-19 NBA season so far.

Along with being in a packed Western Conference where nearly every team in the conference has had a chance and is still in the running for a spot in the postseason, Utah experienced some early-season struggles after mostly returning its entire roster from a season ago.

The Jazz kicked off the first half of the year by falling below the .500 mark while dropping to a spot as low as one of the bottom three teams in the Western Conference standings.

But as of late, especially as the calendar year flipped over to 2019, Utah is rolling. Here are three reasons why the Jazz are still a playoff team in the West and will grab a spot in the playoffs when postseason action begins in April.
