3. Meyers Leonard

Meyers Leonard is the man Blazers Nation probably wants traded away the most. In many fans’ eyes, his production over seven seasons hasn’t been commensurate with that of a No. 7 overall draft pick. However, he seems to have found his footing in recent years as a stretch-big that can deliver effectively in small spurts.

Leonard’s 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game this season won’t jump out as dominating numbers. However, that production translates to 14.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per 36 minutes. This is in line with the 15.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per 36 minutes he averaged in 2017-18. He’s also shooting 44 percent from 3-point range.

Leonard’s contract is a big reason he has yet to be moved. The four-year, $41 million deal he signed in 2016 seemed too unwieldy for teams to willingly put on their books. However, we are now over halfway through the deal. Though he’s still owed $11.3 million next season, teams may be enticed to take a chance on the sharp-shooting big since his contract runs out in 2020.
