3. Langston Galloway

Langston Galloway is a player that can help a number of teams due to the skill-set that he has. He can capably run a second unit offense, and he has shown an ability to knock down shots from distance. The main issue for moving Galloway is the fact that his contract extends into next season. However, his contract has gradually become more palatable as the cap has grown again.

As we have seen over the last few years, NBA teams are willing to pay excessive amounts of money to bring championships home. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors have paid extreme luxury tax bills in their pursuit of titles. Galloway isn’t an extreme needle-mover like some of the other names that are rumored to be on the move this offseason, but capable guard play is something that is always needed in the playoffs when bigs play less and less.

Guards that can score off the bench are extremely helpful for bench units that struggle to generate points, such as the aforementioned Warriors and Houston Rockets. Galloway is one of the team’s better trade chips because of the value he can give to another team, and it would be surprising if they are unable to move him.
