The 2019 NBA trade deadline is approaching and it normally sorts out the contenders from the pretenders. The Utah Jazz don’t need to make a move to be the former.

The Utah Jazz are currently 24-21 and the eighth seed in the ever-crowded Western Conference. The Jazz have played more than half of their schedule here in 2018-19, and are 7-3 over their last 10 games.

Despite the season being more than halfway over already, the Jazz still have 25 home games left and should be getting back both Dante Exum and Ricky Rubio soon. It was a disappointing start to the year thanks to a brutal schedule the first few months, but the Jazz have turned it around over the last few weeks.

Things are starting to look up for Quin Snyder and co., and it’s becoming clear they don’t need to make a move ahead of the 2019 NBA Trade Deadline on Feb. 7. Here are three reasons why that’s the case.
