In Week 14 of NBA Power Rankings for the 2018-19 season, the Utah Jazz are getting back on track and it’s all good news for the Golden State Warriors.

Now that we’ve passed the halfway point of the 2018-19 NBA season, the playoff races in each conference are really starting to heat up.

While the top 3-5 teams in both the East and the West remain relatively the same, the bottom half of each conference changes on a night-to-night basis.

The biggest change over the last week? The Utah Jazz rounding into form while the Los Angeles Lakers continue their downward spiral with LeBron James on the sidelines. In fact, if the regular season ended today, the Lakers would be out of the postseason.

Fortunately for them, and for many teams around the league, we’ve still got plenty of time before the regular season actually ends. That’s especially useful for the Golden State Warriors, who are half a game out of first place in the West and will be introducing DeMarcus Cousins to the party soon.

Bearing all this in mind, and with the 2019 NBA Trade Deadline fast approaching, it’s time for the latest batch of NBA Power Rankings.
