The NBA’s 2019 All-Star Weekend is right around the corner. Will the Detroit Pistons be well-represented at the league’s annual talent showcase?

If the Detroit Pistons fall short in their quest to make it back to the playoffs this season — which would be only their second trip to the postseason since 2008 — then the storied and formerly successful franchise can at least make some progress toward becoming culturally relevant again.

One thing that’ll help the Pistons become regulars on the mainstream radar is to have a good showing during All-Star Weekend, which will be happening Feb. 15-17 in Charlotte.

Since the NBA doesn’t follow the lead of MLB and make sure every team is represented in its All-Star festivities, the Pistons are not guaranteed any piece of the stage in Charlotte. They could have someone involved in every competition, or they could get snubbed across the board.

If the best-case scenario happens and the Pistons do leave their fingerprints all over All-Star Weekend, here are their best candidates for each event.
