The 2019 NBA trade deadline is closing in, and the latest rumors have painted a picture of which Los Angeles Lakers players could be dealt by Feb. 7.

Like just almost any other year, the Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the most talked-about teams when it comes to trade rumors. The Lakers are considered one of the league’s top buyers right now, seeing as many assume they’re one piece away from contending.

With the 2019 NBA trade deadline less than a month away, we’re hearing plenty of chatter about this Lakers team. Although there aren’t a ton of specific names being thrown around, it does seem the franchise is having plenty of trade conversations.

There’s one particular player who continues to be draped in trade rumors. Then there are the various conversations about stars the Lakers could target to pair with LeBron James. Every day it seems, we hear something different about what Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka are working on as the deadline nears. Whether or not a deal is struck, though, is still to be determined.

So what can we expect between now and the trade deadline? There’s a decent chance at least one player is dealt, but more could also be sent packing. The only question is who will be wearing a different jersey come Feb. 8?
