The Chicago Bulls have won just 10 times through their first 42 games. Here’s a look at the biggest midseason takeaways from 2018-19.

The Chicago Bulls were hoping to improve upon their 27-win total from last season. With a healthy complement of players, along with the acquisition of Jabari Parker, that goal seemed to be a realistic one.

Unfortunately, the Bulls were hit with the injuries and in a big way (more on that in a bit), which heavily contributed to the team’s less than stellar start.

As a result, the front office decided it was time to make yet another coaching change, citing lack of energy and spirit as the primary reason for the decision, rather than the win-loss record.

It doesn’t take a genius to realize that coaches aren’t solely responsible for the effort (or lack thereof) that players put into their craft. It also doesn’t take a genius to see that the Bulls will be on the outside looking in terms of competing for a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.

Technically, the Bulls are past the halfway point of the season, but for argument’s sake, here’s a look at the most prevalent midseason takeaways from 2018-19.
