4. Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards have appeared reluctant or at least unable to blow up their core of John Wall and Bradley Beal, even though the team has found little success with these two. So, if they aren’t going to trade either All-Star, they may as well look to give them more help.

The Wizards would shed a $26 million annual contract with Otto Porter Jr. and pick up both Kevin Love and J.R Smith. Love and Smith both have championship experience and can add quite a bit of help to a team looking to compete. If this is the route the Wizards wish to go down, these two guys can certainly help.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers get to take a chance with Porter, who is young and slightly unproven. The Cavs also bring in Ian Mahinmi and a 2020 first round draft pick. Washington should be okay with this, as it would get to hold onto its more valuable 2019 pick and build off that as well as bring in Love.
