Which player would benefit most from more development?

Bossetti: To me it has to be OG Anunoby. Part of OG’s struggles can be linked to the one-dimensional rawness of his game. He also is the only significant young guy on Toronto who is actually young. Guys like FVV (Fred VanVleet), Pascal Siakam and Delon Wright are older than you would think.

Turco: Aside from the obvious answer of the previously mentioned Boucher, one of the two two-way deals the Raptors have on their roster. OG is second on my list of development. He is clearly dealing with something, whether it’s his confidence or personal issues. He has so much potential, and will eventually grow his game into what most Raptors fans expected. My answer has to be Miles. What happened to him? Maybe some time with the Raptors 905 in the G-League would help build his game day confidence. Right now, he’s played his way out of the rotation.

Go Paolo: Have we talked about Boucher enough? I still long for a Raptor who is a defensive presence. Ibaka hasn’t been that exactly. We need someone to fill that void Poeltl left. Not sure Boucher can be that guy, but he plays with intensity. I’m also curious about Deng Adel from the 905. We might not see him this season, but he has the physical tools to be a rotation player. Love the basketball IQ and the playmaking potential. We could use more players who are just sound and can pick up the game quick, especially given how the bench has struggled.

Bossetti: Boucher is a bit of a long shot, but the 905 has a track record of developing talent. If he can be the fourth big man, considering how we acquired him, that’s a win.
