The Memphis Grizzlies’ Garrett Temple and Omri Casspi got into a fight recently. Will this help or doom the team going into the second half of the year?

Disagreements and arguments are natural parts of any work environment. Many believe it’s a positive thing to disagree with your co-workers. Even presidents put members from the opposing party in their cabinets from time to time.

Sometimes, these disagreements spill over into physical altercations. This happened with the Memphis Grizzlies about a week ago, as reported by The Athletic‘s Shams Charania.

It’s almost a guarantee that more of these fights happen every year than are reported. Who can blame the players? They’re all highly competitive athletes who hate losing and when you’re losing like the Grizzlies have been losing, it seems natural that those frustrations would boil over.

There have been plenty of other in-team fights before. Some motivate the team, some cast a shadow over the rest of the season, and some are just part of the show. Let’s have a look at five past fights and see what the Grizzlies can learn from them.
