Here’s the outline of a mutually beneficial trade proposition between the Miami Heat and the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
Finally, there’s been some real signs of life for the Miami Heat.
After kicking off the season with a 9-14 record, a recent West Coast road trip appears to have provided the tonic for a revival in their fortunes.
On the back of some exemplary efforts on the defensive end of the floor, the Heat have won eight of their past 11 games, and appear to have rediscovered their true identity as a team.
So while a return to a .500 record has been highly encouraging, there’s always the specter of team president Pat Riley lurking in the background. After all, Riley isn’t here for .500 records and first-round playoff exits.
At this stage, it appears that for the second time in three seasons, the Heat will be without a player selected to the All-Star Game, with Goran Dragic selected last season as an injury replacement.

So while the Heat currently possess an impressive array of young, up-and-coming stars, there may very well come a time in the near future in which Riley and the front office will need to sacrifice one of these key young pieces in order to land a legitimate All-Star performer.
With this in mind, here’s an overview of a potential deal with the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
