As 2018 is slowly coming to an end, there are some things that the New York Knicks will be hoping for 2019. Here are their three New Year’s resolutions.

It’s been quite a disappointing year for the New York Knicks and their fans, to say the least.

Early on, they lost Kristaps Porzingis to a torn ACL injury, and the 7’3″ unicorn still hasn’t managed to come back. As a result, the Knicks were left without a star to finish off a very mediocre 2017-18 campaign.

They ended up the season with a record of 29-53, which was only enough to grant them the ninth pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, where they selected Kevin Knox. Though the rookie forward struggled during the first month of the season, he now seems to be picking up from where he left off during his impressive NBA Summer League outings.

Failing to land any big-name free agents or trade for big-name superstars like Kawhi Leonard and Jimmy Butler, the Knicks are in a pretty rough spot right now, especially with Porzingis still sidelined.

Now, we’re almost halfway through the 2018-19 season and the New York Knicks currently have the second-worst record in the NBA, only above the Cleveland Cavaliers.

As they get ready for a more promising 2019, here are three New Year’s resolutions that the Knicks should hope for in the near future.
