1. Anti-foul spray for Jaren Jackson Jr.

If Santa brought a lump of coal for every time Jaren Jackson Jr. fouled someone, the stocking would crater through the center of the Earth, throw it off its axis, and send us crashing into the sun.

Jackson is third in the league in fouls per game, averaging 3.7 per game, and fourth in the league in fouls per 36 minutes among players with 500 or more minutes. It’s worth noting the two players in front of him, Kris Dunn and Dwight Howard, have played a combined 15 games this season.

Jackson has been a wonderful surprise for the Grizzlies with his jack-of-all-trades play, but he’s too often plagued by fouls. He has a tendency to lower his arms in an arching kind of motion when an offensive player drives at the rim, instead of keeping his hands straight up, and you will often see Grizzlies veterans reminding him to keep his hands up.

Next. Week 10 NBA Power Rankings. dark

Jackson has been improving in this aspect over the course of the year, as he averaged 4.3 fouls per game in October, 3.8 in November and 3.2 so far in December. Still, it’d be nice if he were more consistent over the course of the year. Jackson just needs to use this spray, one time on each arm, to keep him out of foul trouble and give Luka Doncic a run for his money for Rookie of the Year.
