2. Taking the lead over the Bucks

Since the start of the 2018-19 season, the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks have faced off twice. Both games were really entertaining, ultimately leading to the teams sharing the wins at one game apiece.

On Oct. 22, the Bucks were able to edge the Knicks off in a close game. Unfortunately, both Giannis and Khris Middleton going off was too much for the Knicks to handle.

Their second matchup came a few weeks ago, on Dec. 1. The Bucks visited the Garden in a thriller that ended in an overtime win for the Knicks. New York had four players score 20-plus points in the game, with rookie Kevin Knox having one of the best games of his short career.

Even though the official schedule had already been released before these previous games, these couple of outings can certainly support the NBA’s choice to have these teams face off on Christmas.

While the two teams do not have any sort of rivalry, the clashes between them usually end in nail-biters. Now returning in New York, nobody expects the Bucks to leave without facing a challenge.
