How are Kyle Anderson, Omri Casspi, Shelvin Mack and Garrett Temple doing in their first year with the Memphis Grizzlies?

We’re about a third of the way through the 2018-19 season so far, so it’s time to check in on the Memphis Grizzlies‘ offseason acquisitions: Kyle Anderson, Omri Casspi, Shelvin Mack and Garrett Temple.

Three of those players were acquired via free agency, while the fourth, Temple, was brought in via trade in the middle of July. It was a pivotal summer for Memphis, as there was constant speculation the team was going to blow it up after a terrible 2017-18 season.

Despite having limited cap room, the Grizzlies were able to make significant acquisitions, as all four players have seen significant court time this year. Two of them, Anderson and Temple, are starting, while Mack is sixth on the team in minutes. Casspi has tried to make an impact in his limited playing time, but has struggled so far.

Let’s go ahead and dip right into it to evaluate the team’s offseason acquisitions, starting with forward Kyle Anderson.
