3. Shooting prowess

Since his return, Steph is shooting the ball with fine-tuned precision. Despite being sidelined, he was clearly able to maintain his stroke during the downtime. In his six games post-injury, Curry averaged 5.2 3-pointers per game. His 3-point percentage checks in at a blistering 48.4 percent.

Most notable was Curry’s 42-point effort in a blowout of the Cleveland Cavilers. He shot 9-of-14 from distance, propelling the Warriors to 18 3-pointers and 52.9 percent shooting from deep.

In addition to the Cleveland game, Curry splashed seven 3-pointers Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He also drained six treys in his second game back, a 128-111 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

Since Curry’s return, Golden State is averaging 13.5 made 3-pointers on 40.7 percent shooting. Entering Wednesday’s loss, they had drilled 40 percent or better in each of the past four matchups.

The Dubs are knocking down a torrid 46.9 percent from distance in their four December wins.
