13. Alec Burks stays healthy

The newest member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Alec Burks, was sent to Cleveland in a deal involving Kyle Korver and two future second round draft picks. Burks has appeared in four games and is set to become a legit member of the team.

Burks has played eight seasons in the NBA and has been on the verge of a breakout season for quite some time now. Unfortunately, every time he seems to be ready to take his game to the next level, he suffers some type of injury. As a result, Burks has missed a total of 164 games over the last four NBA seasons.

In his first four games with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Burks has put up an average of 12.5 points and 5.3 rebounds a game. He has been solid offensively and instantly became a fan favorite when he dunked home a game-winning shot versus the Brooklyn Nets in just his third game as a member of the Cavs.

At 27 years of age, all we can hope for with Burks is that he manages to remain healthy. He is a promising young player with a versatile offensive repertoire and it would be great to watch him finally bloom into the player he is meant to be.
