5. Cedi Osman continues to improve

Cedi Osman, the second-year player from Macedonia, is one of the most promising young players on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Osman played a full season for the Cavs last season and was one of LeBron James’ favorite teammates.

It’s clear that Osman took advantage of every opportunity to learn the game. He was notoriously seen in photos working out with James during the offseason. Osman has also taken obvious inspiration from players like Kyle Korver, as it is easy to see that he has adjusted his jump shot to reflect that of the 37-year-old sharpshooter.

Osman’s improvements this season have been notable. As of now, Cedi is averaging 11.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists a game. He is very much a jack-of-all-trades with the ability to do everything on the floor. Because of this, Osman has quickly become a cornerstone of the rebuild.

The goal for Osman is simple: continue to improve. At 22 years of age, there are plenty of things he can do to become a better basketball player. He has already embraced his role with the team and appears ready to stick with Cleveland for the long run. As the team begins to grow and improve, expect Osman to follow suit.
