Luka Doncic is still the early favorite for the NBA Rookie of the Year award, but who else is making noise in this week’s power rankings?

As the month of December approaches, the NBA Rookie of the Year race is getting interesting in 2018-19. Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Collin Sexton is one rookie that’s come on strong in recent games. Cleveland went 2-2 this past week as they traded veteran Kyle Korver to the Utah Jazz for Alec Burks. With more youth on the way, it’ll be interesting to see how Sexton adjusts.

Duke’s Marvin Bagley III is starting to find his way in the Sacramento Kings rotation again as well. Bagley is averaging 18.7 points and 11.0 rebounds per game across the last three contests and recorded the second double-double of his career this past Saturday against the Golden State Warriors, recording 20 points and a season-high 17 rebounds in 34 minutes of action. As his minutes have gone up, so has his production.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic has some competition behind him, but he’s done his best to keep them off his heels. The Mavs have won three games in a row and eight of their last 10 as they continue to roll through their opponents. A playoff bid could be on the horizon with a new international star on the squad.

Bearing all that in mind, here’s a look at the Week 6 NBA Rookie of the Year power rankings.
